It is a good fit for hikers of all ages, as it is mostly loose gravel. McLeod Creek Trail is a bit longer at 6 miles out-and-back. It is short enough to do after work one day. Iron Canyon Trail is a bit less trafficked than other trails, meaning it could be a good fit for an intimate hike with a friend or loved one.
